Common questions
Everything you'd want to know before you enquire
What if we move or our schedule changes significantly?
Moving house or schedule changes happen so just speak to our team about the new location or new schedule adjustments and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Online tutoring also means location changes don’t have to interrupt your child’s sessions.
What information do I need to have ready when I enquire?
Just the basics, your child’s grade, their school, the subjects they need help with, and whether you’d prefer in-person or online. That’s enough for us to get started.
What if I want to stop tutoring altogether?
Either party can end the agreement with 30 days written notice. There’s no penalty for leaving — we just ask for that notice so we can wrap things up properly for your child and their tutor.
Can I contact the tutor directly if I have concerns?
We’d prefer you come to us first. Innerbloom is the point of contact for anything admin-related, scheduling, feedback, concerns, or complaints. It keeps things professional and means nothing falls through the cracks.
Do I pay the tutor directly?
No. All payments go to Innerbloom Tutoring directly. You should never pay a tutor in cash or privately. If any tutor asks you to pay them in cash, please let us know immediately.
What if something comes up and we need to cancel?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancel with less than that and the session is charged in full as your tutor has already blocked that time out. If your child doesn’t show up without any notice, the same applies. Genuine emergencies are handled with common discretion, just reach out to us as soon as you can.
Can we change tutors if it’s not working?
Yes, and you don’t need to feel bad about asking. We build a trial month into every new placement specifically so there’s room to get it right. If the match isn’t working, come to us directly and we’ll take it from there. Your child shouldn’t have to sit through sessions that aren’t helping them.
