What we look for in every Innerbloom tutor
Criteria 01
Your qualifications
Matric is the minimum requirement, and you'll need to have achieved at least 70% in the subject you'd like to tutor. While a degree or diploma is preferred, what matters most is that you have a strong understanding of your subject and can confidently teach it to a child who may be finding it challenging.
Criteria 02
Your background check
Every tutor goes through an NRSO background check and NSC certificate verification before meeting a single learner. It's a non-negotiable to be part of Innerbloom.
Criteria 03
Your passion for teaching
We're looking for tutors who believe education is about more than just marks. We want people who are passionate about making a real difference, who genuinely care about helping children grow in confidence and reach their potential. If you believe tutoring is about inspiring, encouraging, and supporting each child—not simply working through a syllabus—you'll fit right in at Innerbloom.

Your approach with students
Every child learns differently and we believe the best learning happens when we meet them where they are. That's why we look for tutors who are patient, encouraging and genuinely believe in each child's potential. We value tutors who are always willing to learn, grow and explore new ways of teaching so they can make a lasting difference in a child's journey.
Criteria 05
Your experience and availability
You don't need a formal teaching background, but you need real experience working with children. You also need to be able to commit to regular sessions, the families we work with depend on that consistency.
Criteria 06
What you’ll need to upload
When you're ready to apply, please have your CV, Matric certificate, proof of a 70% or higher result in the subjects you'd like to tutor, any university results you have, any relevant certifications and at least one reference ready.
